Changes, changes

I recently read an article in Venus magainze titled "Build-A-Girlfriend?" and it brought up some interesting points. Synopsis: It was a girl's story of how another girl she liked changed from when they were in academy together to when she saw here a few years later. The change was apparently shocking, and dissapointing. It was an inspiring article. Check it out here.

There is something to be said of not losing yourself to a friend, situation, or lover. You have to stick with your own team. That ole' saying "Be true to thine self-" well, it fits pretty good. We've all been in those situations where you have to make a choice. Live to yourself, or live to someone/something else. I choose myself.

Change isn't bad. Change is great. But let me encourage you from experince to change because YOU want to. Better yourself-but don't do it for someone else-or you'll never accomplish it without resentment. My words of wisdom for the day.
